The brain and nerves inside the spine make up the central nervous system. The spinal nerves carry messages from the body to the brain to tell it what is going on. The brain acts like a control centre working out from these messages and the brain combine them together to form an alarm system, but unfortunately, sometimes, the brains interpretation of these signals isn’t accurate.

We usually expect pain to settle down with time but sometimes the brain continues to send out pain signals and these signals can be hard to stop. Chronic pain can become a circuit because you are constantly remembering it, feeling it, experiencing it and subsequently hardwiring it to your brain.

Hypnosis can help to break pain signals from the brain, reduce your cortisol levels, increase your serotonin, feel happier and more positive so you can do more of the things you enjoy.
